Learn To Play Piano At Home

chords

Piano Lessons Gone NUTS! Another video of MANY where Shawn answers the common everyday questions about music that everyone has. I’ve taught piano lessons for over 23 years, and played professionally for longer than that! No cold lifeless animated lessons here, or watered down lessons by someone who doesn’t understand themselves what they are trying to teach you! I’m ready to teach and help you to reach your goal and dream of playing the piano successfully. Enjoy.

Focus: Second part of the song going over modal theory in improvisation plus a good look at ideas and chord connections… video gets better as ideas start flowing.

Practice: Apply the modal theory improvisation law to your own songs, or this song.

I spent a great many years feeling confused by inversions. Because my piano beginnings were based on classical training, I had to play them a great deal. I am thankful for this now because I see the greater picture and realize that all those tedious inversion practices lead me toward being able to play music I loved!
