Welcome to piano lesson number 4 in our “PKG” series of piano lessons for beginners with yours truly, Mantius Cazaubon. In this one, PKG 004, we recap what we’ve learned so far in lessons 1 to 3 such as the notes and keys of the piano, sharps and flats, and half steps and whole steps. We take a look at the notes of the C major scale and learn to play an easy song in that scale or key. We also talk about piano finger numbers, the major scale formula and more.

Understand the keys of piano
2 keys black then 3 keys black again 2 keys black
you will find 2 or 3 black keys pair
there are many white keys under the blank keys
this is the layout of piano
in piano layout
this piano is divided into the octave
in one octave there are 12 keys in this
first blank key to last three blank key combination
this key and this key side is an octave
in this octave 12 keys
the combination of 12 keys of piano and keyboard is known as an octave
in this octave
in this octave there is 7 keys white

7 keys white and 5 keys black
so in the octave 7 key white and 5 keys black ok
this is octave
middle octave, lower lower octave
lower octave
higher octave
you understand the octave
you know black keys and white keys
what are the different names of these key we will know
